Harbour Arms (feat. Galina Juritz & bb sway)

Mr Beatnick & Richard Greenan present their debut full length collaboration "Coasty". Brought together by their twin residencies on NTS Radio, the duo have forged distinct paths in their respective scenes over the last decade - as producers, DJs and label heads of the imprints Mythstery and Kit Records.

The strength of their partnership is built on contrasting styles; Mr Beatnick's sound orbits the woozier fringes of house music with a hip hop sentiment, whilst Richard Greenan has found favour in liminal spaces between ambient, textural experimentation and the avant-garde.

Combined, they weave together soundscapes that hint at influences including Devo, Dilla, krautrock and early synthesis experimentation, with retro familiarity and refreshing compositional left turns in equal measure.

Their first single, "Harbour Arms", is perhaps either artist's most pop effort to date. Recorded on residency in Margate, this is an uplifting ballad, filled with the rich string orchestrations of Galina Juritz, and the hushed stylings of guest vocalist bb sway.
